In celebration of National Trails Day, join the Carolina Thread Trail Partner and Volunteer, Paul LaFrancois for a 3-mile hike (1.5-mile each way out and back course) on rolling terrain. This trail is part of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail which traces the route used by patriot militia during the Kings Mountain campaign of 1780. Today, the public is invited to hike and bike the scenic route both through the woods and around the lake.
